【答案】Dear David,
In your letter, you want to know what major I want to choose after graduating from senior high school. I am so glad to tell you that I plan to learn medicine and to be a doctor in the future.
There are some reasons why I would like to choose medicine as my major. For one thing, I am quite interested in medicine and I am sure I have the ability and potential to learn it well. For another, our society needs large numbers of doctors so it is relatively easy to find a job. My purpose of working as a doctor is to make more patients recover, thus making people live a much healthier life. In this way I can make more contributions to our society. What inspires me most is that thousands of doctors and nurses volunteered to save people’s lives during the Wuhan epidemic.
To study medicine is not so easy, which will take a long period and hard efforts . However ,in spite of these challenges, I am determined to work harder at my lessons. Through my efforts I believe I can be admitted to an ideal medical college.
Yours,
Li Hua
