How to keep healthy?

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

【答案】How to keep healthy?

Dear boys and girls,

Good health is so important to everyone, without which one can hardly live a satisfactory life. As students, when longing to learn better, we shall in the meanwhile act actively for good health.

Here are some suggestions. First, we'd better do more exercise such as playing basketball, running or swimming to build up our body. Second, we should have a balanced diet. Don't eat too much meat or sugar but more vegetables and fruit. Third, we need enough sleep and rest, and we shouldn't stay up late because it’s bad for our health. Besides, keeping ourselves happy is also very important. I hope we are healthy and enjoy our life.

Thanks for your listening!

Gardening is an activity where you have to get your hands dirtily. I try my luck with a spade several times, added a few more plant variety to my garden each year. I know how to do this because of my grandfather, that loved gardening and took the great pride in those peas and carrots grown in his backyard. The entire backyard was devoted his plants. I now had a house and a garden of his own. Last summer my tomato plants gave us a dozen grape-sized tomatoes I often think back to my grandfather garden. He passed away years ago, but I have ever forgotten to allow the new roots to grow in my garden.

We have arrived in the hot, wet city of Bangkok(曼谷). This is our first trip to Thailand(泰國). All the different smells make us want to try the food. Many people take the idea of saving money very seriously. Back in 1924, in Italy, a group of people 1 (think) the inability to resist spending a major social problem. They had the idea of starting a day to remind people to put away some money for a rainy day. This is how World Saving Day, held on Oct. 31st 2(annual), was started, and it's still going strong in 2019.

Not surprisingly, a movement 3(target) the poor was started. People in the underdeveloped world are more open 4 calls to be careful with money. But 5 idea of being thrifty (節(jié)儉) has also become popular among the rich. Take Mark Zuckerberg for example. The Facebook founder, one of the world's 6(rich) people, doesn't spend very much money on himself.

Other people don't spend money because they don't like the culture of 7(consume). This is connected to the view 8 we should make ourselves happy through the activities we take part in, rather than with what we buy.

But however we view money, moderate spending is certainly a good idea when we are still too young to get a job. There is a British saying that 9(offer) some good advice in this situation: “Look after the pennies, and the pounds will look after 10(they).”

【題目】Remarkable Ways to Push Yourself Harder

Deep inside us, we know that hard work is the key to success. 1 Here are the rules that you can also apply to make yourself work really hard.

Practice working hard.

2 Therefore, if you want to be a hard worker, you must practice working hard. Practice waking up early, practice doing a lot of work, and practice working more hours. One day you will wake up and realize that you are a hard worker.

3

Many hard workers always have a large purpose that forces them to work. Don’t just think of buying a car or a big house because this is not a purpose strong enough to push you forward. An example of a big purpose is deciding that you are working hard so that you bring change in the lives of your friends, family, and neighborhood. A strong purpose always involves bringing a large positive change in any particular setting.

Surround yourself with hard workers.

4 But if you surround yourself with hardworking people, you will find yourself working hard towards your goal. Avoid friends who just want to have fun all the time. This type of friends will always discourage you when you attempt to work hard. Therefore, always surround yourself with go-getters.

Read and watch inspirational materials.

You can also push yourself harder through reading and watching inspirational material.

5 These materials make you work hard because they remove discouragement and assure you that you will never fail if you push yourself to the limit.

A.Have a strong purpose.

B.Find a great goal to overcome your laziness.

C.Like other skills, one has to practice it to perfect it.

D.Inspirational material makes you believe in yourself.

E.However, we always find it difficult to push ourselves harder.

F.Motivational books and videos encourage you to work harder.

G.If you surround yourself with lazy people, you will also be lazy.
