                          Saving the Son from the Snake’s Mouth

        The following is a true story. It happened in the north of

Australia,where many animals live in the forest.

       Liza,a 33-year-old woman,was cooking lunch in the kitchen while her three-year-old son,Barney,was playing alone in the backyard.

       Suddenly ? a cry from Barney was heard by his mother. Liza ran into the backyard and found a big snake trying to eat the boy. Liza was frightened and quite angry.         By and by ? a small piece of the snake was bit off. Liza picked up the hoe again and hit the wound hard. The snake was so badly hurt that it left the boy and moved back into the forest quickly. It had never imagined how human had such strong teeth!Half way home,the snake died.

        It was the mother's love that saved the little boy.
