The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the traditional Chinese festivals. It is often in September or October. During the festival, Chinese people will celebrate the festival with their family. They will get together and have dinner. Mooncakes are important food on that day. There are different kinds of mooncakes, such as bean paste, egg-yolk or meat. The shape of a mooncake is round like a big moon. Moreover, on the evening of the Middle-Autumn Festival, the family get together and eat delicious mooncakes while admiring the beautiful moon. On that day, the moon looks brighter and rounder. We call this moon the full moon.

The Mid-Autumn Festival is a very important festival for Chinese people. It’s like Thanksgiving day in the USA. I love it very much.
