有一個(gè)趕車的人，趕著一頭驢子和一頭騾（luó）子動身出門去了。驢子和騾子都馱（tuó）著重東西。

驢子起初在平地上還能穩(wěn)穩(wěn)當(dāng)當(dāng)?shù)刈撸豢墒堑搅艘蛔笊侥_下，要走上陡（dǒu）坡，就覺得有點(diǎn)兒受不了了。他要求騾子代他擔(dān)負(fù)一小部分，好讓他把大部分東西馱到家里�？墒球呑硬淮饝�(yīng)。

不久，他們走到一個(gè)荒僻的地方，驢子馱得筋疲力盡，一交摔倒，登時(shí)就死了。趕大車的無法可想，只好把原來歸驢子馱的東西都加在騾子身上，連剝下來的一張?bào)H皮也放了上去。

騾子馱著這么多的東西，一邊嘆氣一邊對自己說：“唉，真是活該!當(dāng)初驢子要我?guī)退稽c(diǎn)兒忙，要是我答應(yīng)了，現(xiàn)在也不至于除了馱上他馱過的東西之外，還得馱他的臭皮囊（náng）了�！�
