1、Yesterday afternoon, I went home after school．I wanted to do some housework.．So I began to clean the room, I wanted to give a surprise to my parents．But my father said to me, “Don’t do such things, your duty is to study．”

After finishing my homework, I began to watch TV．When my mother came back and saw me doing this, she got angry at once．She shouted to me,“You mustn’t watch TV．Go to study right away．”

    I was so sad hearing this．I know my parents wish me to be better and they hope that I can spend as much time as possible on study, just like most parents do．But studying is not all of my life and we youth are not studying machines．We need free time．We need learn more outside the textbooks．Parents should believe that we are old enough to control our own time．
