3.What will people die of 100years from now?If you think that is a simple question,you have not been paying attention to the revolution that is taking place in biotechnology(生物科技).With the help of new medicine,the human body will last a very long time.Death will come mainly from accidents,murder and war.Today's leading killers,such as heart disease,cancer,and aging itself,will become distant memories.
In discussion of technological changes,the Internet gets most of the attention these days.But the change in medicine can be the real technological event of our times.How long can humans live?Human brains were known to decide the final death.Cells are the basic units of all living things,and until recently,scientists were sure that the life of cells could not go much beyond 120years because the basic materials of cells,such as those of brain cells,would not last forever.But the upper limits will be broken by new medicine.Sometime between 2050and 2100,medicine will have advanced to the point at which every 10years or so,people will be able to take medicine to repair their organs.The medicine,made up of the basic building materials of life,will build new brain cells,heart cells,and so on-in much the same way our bodies make new skin cells to take the place of old ones.
It is exciting to imagine that the advance in technology may be changing the most basic condition of human existence, but many technical problems still must be cleared up on the way to this wonderful future.

32題答案:A. Today's leading killers,such as heart diseases,cancer,and aging itself…(現在人類死亡的頭號殺手:諸如心臟病、癌癥以及衰老…)
But the change in medicine can be real technological event of our times."(但是醫(yī)學的改變可能真的是我們時代的科技大事)可知作者認為,當今技術最重要的發(fā)展是醫(yī)學;故選B.
根據第二段倒數第二句"sometime between 2050 and 2100,…people will be able to take medicine to repair their organs"在2050~2100期間,每隔10年左右,人們可以通過吃藥來修復生病的或衰老的器官.

5.We might think we know which colours do what.The idea that red wakes us up or blue calms us down is deeply rooted in Western culture.But do they really change our behaviour in the ways that we assume?
When it comes to scientific research,the results are mixed and at times contested.Some studies have found that people do better on cognitive tasks when faced with red rather than blue or green; others show the opposite.The idea is that if you repeatedly have a particular experience surrounded by a certain colour,then you eventually begin to associate that colour with the way you were feeling or behaving.A school career spent reading your teacher's red writing circling your mistakes forever makes you link red with danger.Blue meanwhile is more likely to be associated with calmer situations like marvelling at a big blue expanse of sky.
Of course there will always be exceptions---the comment from the teacher saying"well done"is also written in red.It is true that people do make different associations with different colours,but whether this translates into behaving in a certain way or succeeding at a particular task is a different question.
In 2009researchers tried to clarify the situation.They sat their participants at computer screens coloured blue,red or"neutral"and tested them on various tasks.With a red screen people did better on tasks requiring attention to detail,but when the screen was blue they did better on creative tasks.In practice this might be tricky.In a classroom you might want to think creatively some of the time and pay attention to detail at others.
However,when another team tried to repeat the study with a larger group of people in 2014,the effect of colour disappeared.The initial study consisted of just 69people.In this new,bigger study,of 263volunteers,background colour made no difference.
So colours might well have an effect, but so far those effects have been difficult to demonstrate consistently and sometimes don't seem to exist at all.
58.What's the major function of the first paragraph?C
A.To present a widely held view
B.To raise a question of behavior change
C.To introduce the theme of the passage
D.To summarize the whole passage
59.The author mentions the exception in Paragraph 3in order to showC.
A.there are exceptions to every rule
B.people tend to associate colors with behaviors
C.colors don't necessarily mean particular behaviors
D.colors do matter to those who desire success
60.It can be concluded from the results of the studies in 2009and 2014thatB.
A.the research findings are practical in indoor decoration
B.solid evidence is inadequate to prove how colors affect us
C.a larger study may help confirm colors'effects on our behaviors
D.walls should be painted different colors depending on different tasks.

13.No matter what type of business you run,it has to deal with situations in which things go wrong from your customer's point of view.Complaints can be a great source of information for the organizations.So it's important to learn to deal with customer complaints efficiently.
Firstly,listen actively to what the customer has to say by keeping comfortable eye contact and giving full attention with no interrupting.You should also show your customer that you do understand him.
Secondly,when receiving a complaint you should apologize for the failure the customer has identified.It's important for you to know that your apology must appear authentic to the customer,and not an empty exercise.And also you should show the customer you've accepted the responsibility and provide him with choices if you have some in hand or otherwise assure the customer you'll do something about his complaint.
Thirdly,talk with the consumer and discover the best means to resolve his problem.There will be times when,after gathering the facts of a situation,you'll be unable to resolve the problem immediately.In this case it's important to let your customer know how long it'll take to take action on his complaint.
Fourthly,a simple"Thank you"is one way to let the customer know you appreciate the time and effort he has taken to inform you about a problem with your company's service or product you need to know about.
Lastly,give your customer something that shows your appreciation for him giving the feedback to you.And let him know you're sorry for the mistake that was made.It isn't necessary to give something that is costly; but a coupon(贈券) for a free drink or movie is fine.
Your professional and well-organized method of dealing with your customer complaints is one more way that will make you stay ahead of your competitors.

67.What does the passage mainly talk about?C
A.Importance of dealing with customer complaints.
