You asked me about Yao Ming. Here is something I got when I searched the websites at home.

Yao Ming, who is now 2.26 meters tall and 134kg in weight, was born in Shanghai on the 12th of September, 1980. He believes in himself. He plays center in the team.

He joined Shanghai basketball team in 1997 and became a member of China national team in 1998. Two years later he was selected as member of Asian All—Star basketball team. In 2002, Shanghai won the champion of CBA and he was among the top players in the team. In the same year he went to the US and became Number One Overall in the NBA draft, which helped him join Houston Rockets.

Now, as one of the stars in the NBA, Yao Ming is working hard to live his dream and show the world that Chinese basketball players love this game too！The people of China can be proud of Yao Ming and young people all over the world can look up to him as an example.
