【1】考查謂語動詞!we were looking forward to”是定語從句,修飾party,故come是謂語動詞,由“were”推斷句子描述過去發(fā)生的事情,故用一般過去時。故coming改為came。
“with their pet dog following them”是“with+賓語+賓語補(bǔ)足語”符合結(jié)構(gòu)作伴隨狀語,their pet dog與follow之間是主動關(guān)系,用現(xiàn)在分詞表示主動關(guān)系。
故tell前加to。
in the distance“在遠(yuǎn)處”。故將at改為in。
take off“起飛”。根據(jù)語境,故up改為off。
be short for“簡稱”是固定短語。故將of改為for。
【8】考查非謂語動詞!dressed in a red skirt”作定語修飾the girl,dress與the girl之間是被動關(guān)系,用過去分詞作定語表示被動關(guān)系。
因?yàn)椤?/span>I wasn’t get married until I could afford to buy a house of my own”是完整句子,所以句子是強(qiáng)調(diào)句型,not…until… It is/was+not until+that+其它成分。故I前加that。
