【題目】閱讀下面短文,根據(jù)所給情節(jié)進行續(xù)寫,使之構(gòu)成一個完整的故事。
Twenty years ago, I drove a taxi for a living. One night I took a fare at 2:30 AM. When I arrived to collect, the building was dark except for a single light in a ground floor window. I walked to the door and knocked. “Just a minute.” answered a weak, elderly voice. I could hear something being dragged across the floor.
After a long pause, the door opened. A small woman in her 80’s stood before me. She was wearing a print dress and a pillbox hat, like somebody out of a 1940s movie. “Would you carry my bag out to the car?” she said. I took the suitcase to the cab, then returned to assist the woman. She held my arm and we walked slowly toward my car.
She kept thanking me for my kindness. “It’s nothing”, I told her. “I just try to treat my passengers the way I would want my mother treated.”
“Oh, you’re such a good man,” she said. When we got in the car, she gave me an address, and then asked, “Could you drive through downtown?”
I looked in the rear-view mirror(后視鏡). Her eyes were shinning. “I don't have any family left,” she continued. “The doctor says I don’t have very long.” I quietly reached over and shut off the meter. “What route would you like me to take?” I asked.
For the next two hours, we drove through the city. She showed me the building where she had once worked as an operator. We drove through the neighborhood where she and her husband had lived. Sometimes she’d ask me to slow in front of a particular building or corner and would sit staring into the darkness, saying nothing.
As the first ray of the sun appeared, she suddenly said, “I’m tired. Let’s go now.” We drove in silence to the address she had given me. It was a small hospice(臨終關(guān)懷醫(yī)院), with a driveway that passed under an entrance hall. Two nurses came out to the car as soon as we pulled up.

【題目】閱讀下面材料,根據(jù)其內(nèi)容和所給段落開頭語續(xù)寫兩段,使之構(gòu)成一篇完整的短文。續(xù)寫的詞數(shù)應(yīng)為150左右。
When I was young, I always knew my parents had trouble with money. We would go to yard sales all the time, buy everyday supplies at Dollarama and work and eat at a soup kitchen four nights a week.
Then, a new man walked into the soup kitchen and asked me what my name was. As I told him that my name was Angela, my mom handed me the soup spoon and hair net(發(fā)網(wǎng)) to start getting to work. After that, I couldn’t find the strange man again. I searched everywhere for him and even asked the other men and women in the kitchen if they had seen him. My mom thought I was going crazy, saying that there was no one with me when she came to hand me my stuff. She said I had been sitting alone and that it seemed I was talking to myself.
Later that night in the car, my mom was crying. I asked her what was wrong and she told me that the rent on our apartment had gone up and that my grandma had died. She didn’t know how she was going to pay for the funeral and the rent. I guaranteed that I would help pick up the odds and ends(雜事) before she made as much as possible.
The moment we got into the apartment building, she asked me to run to the mail room and grab the mail. I went and the only thing I could find was one single envelope. A familiar man called me back saying he thought I left something in our mailbox. I reached in and pulled out a huge envelope but I couldn’t tell what was in it.
I brought the envelopes up to my mom. She opened the first one and found our first super expensive rent bill. She then walked into her room, saying she couldn’t handle to open the other one.
Paragraph 1:
I looked at the envelope and saw this: Dear Angela and Family. Love, Your Friend.
