【答案】Last week, I invited Jim to experience a campus activity named “Closer to Peking Opera”, which left us a deep impression.
We firstly watched a wonderful Peking Opera performance in the well-decorated hall. Hardly had the show begun, Jim and I were at once amazed by the elegant moves of the actor and the pleasant music.
After that, we stepped into a specially arranged room to see an exhibition about Peking Opera. A variety of exhibits were on display, such as costumes, facial masks, spears, which deepened our understanding about Peking Opera.
Before we got out, an activity of painting facial masks caught our eye. We couldn’t wait to have a try on our own. With careful work, two vivid masks came into being before long. Then we exchanged them as a gift to each other. To record the precious moment, we had a photo taken together with the masks in hands.
This activity indeed gave us a chance to explore the beauty of traditional Chinese culture.
