In our daily life, everyone can get help from our classmates, support from our friends, concern from our teachers and love from our parents. All these make our life beautiful and happy.

I have something moving to share with you. Two months ago, I was badly ill. I had to be in hospital for a long time. Unfortunately, my family was too poor to afford it. When I was in trouble, one of my classmates named Li Hua decided to raise money for me. Everyone in our class took out their pocket money. What’s more, they went to the streets on Sunday to collect money from others. When they sent all the money to me, my parents and I were deeply moved.

When Paderewski began to thank Hoover for his kindness, Hoover quickly stopped him and said, “You shouldn’t be thanking me, Mr. Prime Minister. You may not remember this, but several years ago, you helped two young students go through college. I was one of them.”
