The first day we go to high school, our head teacher told us the news which we needed to take the military training. We were all surprising at the news, because of it was so hot outside. How terribly it was! The next day, we met our training instructor, who were young and handsome. He was strict, but humorous, telling him jokes when we rested. At night, he asked us sing military songs. We even competed with other teams. The days of the military trainings were beautiful, and we found a training was not that hard. We became stronger and made friends with our military instructor.

【1】將go改為went

【2】將which改為that

【3】將surprising改為surprised

【4】去掉because后的of

【5】將terribly改為terrible

【6】將were改為was

【7】將him改為us

【8】在sing前加to

【9】將trainings改為training

【10】將a改為the

故去掉because后的of。

【8】在sing前加to 固定形式:ask sb. to do sth.

【10】將a改為the 此處特指訓練,故將a改為the。

possible---possibly; simple---simply; gentle---gently; terrible---terribly; true---truly; flexible---flexibly

immediate--- immediately; brave---bravely; wise---wisely;active---actively

encourage sb. to do sth.鼓勵某人做某事;want sb. to do 想讓某人做某事;invite sb. to do邀請某人做某事; ask sb. to do 請求某人做某事;order sb. to do命令某人做某事; tell sb. to do告訴某人做某事;force sb. to do 強迫某人做某事;allow sb. to do允許某人做某事; forbid sb. to do 禁止某人做某事;persuade sb. to do 勸說某人做某事。

have/make/see/watch/hear/let/notice/observe/feel/look at/listen to sb. do sth.

注意:help sb. (to) do sth.

He made me feel at home. (主動語態(tài))I was made to feel at home.(被動語態(tài))

Many people believe that they will be happy once they arrive at some specific goal they set for themselves. However, more often than not, once you arrive there you will still feel dissatisfied, and move your there vision to yet another point in the future. By always chasing (追尋) after another there, you are never really appreciating what you already have right here. It is important for human beings to keep sober-minded(頭腦清醒的) about the age-old drive to look beyond the place where you now stand. On one hand, your life is developed by your dreams and aspirations (抱負). On the other hand, these drives can pull you farther and farther from your enjoyment of your life right now.

To be grateful means you are thankful for what you have right now. Gratitude (感激) fills your heart with the joyful feeling and allows you to fully appreciate everything that arises on your path. As you try hard to keep your focus on the present moment, you can experience the full wonder of here.

There are many ways to develop gratitude. Here are just a few suggestions you may wish to try:

Imagine what your life would be like if you lost all that you had. This will most surely remind you of how much you do appreciate it.

Make a list each day of all that you are grateful for, so that you can stay conscious (有意識的) daily of your blessings. Do this especially when you are feeling as though you have nothing to feel grateful for. Or spend a few minutes before you go to sleep giving thanks for all that you have.

Spend time offering assistance (幫助) to those who are less fortunate than you, so that you may gain a new perspective (觀點).

What really matters is that you create a space in your consciousness for appreciation for all that you have right now, so that you may live more happily in your present moment.
