解答 How time flies!This is a third year that I have been in this school.In the past two years,our school had organized many activities.That impressed me most was an activity calling"Learning to Farm".In an autumn afternoon,we went to a farm which we learned to plant potatoes.Having been in the city for so a long time,we were so happy to go to the countryside.After we were divided into 3groups,we started to work.Some students cut potatoes into pieces; some dug holes,and the others put the pieces into the hole,put the earth back and pushed them down hard.We continued doing that until all the work was done.Although we were exhausted,but we felt happy on our way home.
詳解:
1.a(chǎn) 改為the,考查冠詞,形容詞最高級(jí)前應(yīng)用定冠詞the.
2.had改為 has;考查動(dòng)詞的時(shí)態(tài),in the past two and a half years應(yīng)與現(xiàn)在完成時(shí)連用.
3.That改為What;考查名詞性從句,這是一個(gè)主語(yǔ)從句,疑問(wèn)代詞what在從句中作主語(yǔ).
4.calling改為called;考查分詞作定語(yǔ),activity與動(dòng)詞call存在邏輯上的動(dòng)賓關(guān)系,故用過(guò)去分詞形式作后置定語(yǔ).
5.In 改為on;考查介詞,在具體到某一天的下午時(shí),應(yīng)使用介詞on.
6.which改為where或者前面加on考查定語(yǔ)從句,關(guān)系詞指代先行詞farm,在從句中作狀語(yǔ)所以用where或on which.
7.so 改為such;考查固定結(jié)構(gòu),so+形容詞+a+名詞,such+a+形容詞+名詞.
8.hole改為holes;考查名詞單復(fù)數(shù),根據(jù)上文的some dug holes,可知此處要用復(fù)數(shù)形式holes.
9.them改為it,考查代詞,it在這里代替上文的不可數(shù)名詞the earth.
10.去掉but,考查連詞,在英語(yǔ)中although可與yet,still連用,但不與but連用,although用在句首,所以去掉but.

4.According to ReelSEO.com,a website about video marketing, there are more than 2 million cat videos on YouTube.People have watched these videos more than 25 billion times, which equates to an average of 12,000 views per cat video.I couldn't help but wonder:Who is so drawn to this type of content? And what effects do cat-related media have on viewers?
These questions encouraged my initial search to gather data on the Internet cat phenomenon.I scoured academic databases to see what the literature could tell me but found no existing data about why people watched so many cat videos online or what effects these videos might have on us.
So I decided to find out myself. My neighborhood Internet celebrity feline(貓)-the adorable Lil Bub,who happens to also live in Bloomington,Indiana-shared the link on her website after I launched an online survey. With Bub's help, the survey quickly got nearly 7,000 respondents. The results from this study suggested that certain people are more likely than others to view large amounts of Internet cat videos. It also showed that cat videos can positively influence the emotions of viewers.
According to my study,if you currently own or have previously owned a cat,of if you've volunteered to assist pets in the past years, you're more likely to watch cat videos.Cat video viewers also spent more time online than other participants, tended to be more agreeable and shy,and felt they had adequate emotional support in their lives.
The data also revealed information about the nature of audience interactions with online cat media.Three-quarters of respondents did not actively seek out cat content.Instead, they happened upon it in the course of their daily Internet use,Still, online cat videos aren't all about passive consumption. Many people also produce their own cat-related media to post online, which often increases comments and likes.
But I really wanted to learn what effects watching online cat videos might have on viewers.People in my study reported experiencing more positive emotions and having higher energy levels after watching cat videos than before. They also reported lower levels of negative emotions after viewing online cat-related content. In short, most of us get a little psychological pick-me-up when we watch Lil Bub climb the stairs.

5.How to Succeed in Science
To succeed in science, you need a lot more than luck.In my view, you have to combine intelligence with a willingness not to follow conventions when they block your path forward. Thus, these have come to be my rules for success.
1.(36)EThat might sound proud, but the fact is that you must always turn to people who are brighter than yourself. It's like playing any game.Even as a child,I never wanted to play games with anyone who was as bad as I was.If you win,it gives you no pleasure. And in the game of science or life, the highest goal isn't simply to win; it's to win at something really difficult.(37)C2.Take risks
To make a huge success,a scientist has to be prepared to get into deep trouble. If you are going to make a huge jump in science, you will very likely be unqualified to succeed by definition.(38)GThis can be more than personally upsetting.
3.Never do anything that bores you.
My experience in science is that someone is always telling you to do things, and then leave you alone.I'm not good enough to do well in something I dislike.(39)FIt's very hard to succeed if you don't want to be with other scientists-you have to go to key meetings where you spot key facts that would have escaped you.And you have to chat with your competitors, even if you find them objectionable.
So my final rule is:(40)B

A.Meet challenges with great courage.
B.If you can't stand to be with your real peers, get out of science.
C.Put another way,it's to go somewhere beyond your ability and come out on top.
D.Be sure you always have someone to save you from a deep mess.
E.Avoid foolish people.
F.In fact,I find it hard to do well in something I like.
G.Besides, you even have to be prepared to disbelieve your scientific heroes.

2.As a senior,my future is always on my mind.To be exact,thoughts of the future have kept me up countless nights and made me worry enough to do poorly on more than one test.Because of this,words of wisdom are a source of comfort.Steve Jobs once gave a speech to Stanford's graduating class in 2005and his words resound repeatedly in my mind whenever I think about my future.
When I hear Jobs discuss his life as a student,some of my fears were eased.He,too,felt the need to attend college to make something of himself.He faced what many are extremely afraid of:uncertainty.His lack of understanding caused him to stop attending college and focus on what he felt was important.His story had a happy ending,of course,since he certainly turned out well.This doesn't mean that students shouldn't attend college,but rather that they shouldn't worry so much.
Jobs talked about the hardships in his work.His love of his work helped him carry on and he got where he was meant to be,which restates the point:don't panic.
One particular part of his speech stayed with me.Steve Jobs quoted(引用)the saying"Stay hungry,stay foolish"and it has become my motto.Staying foolish is realizing that you are still a fool,no matter how much you've learned or experienced.There is always more to explore.Staying hungry is wanting to find those things about which you are still uneducated.
Steve Jobs's level of success is attainable,and I aim to prove that.With the will power to go into the world living every day like it's my last and allowing the future to take care of itself,I will do great things.In the last moments of my life,I'll be proud of what I have done and hope to have all the wisdom a person could wish for.

C.Confidence in defeating Jobs.
D.Interest in computer industry.
70.The passage is mainly aboutA.
A.the wisdom drawn from a speech    B.the most impressive quotation in life

4.Any list of the world's top ten most famous paintings will surely include da Vinci's Mona Lisa.Part of the painting's attraction is its mystery.
Those lucky enough to have a view of the Mona Lisa at the Louvre often stare in awe(敬畏),surprised by the smile that seems to flicker(忽隱忽現(xiàn)).Staring at a reproduction of the work produces the same effect.Now she's smiling,then she's not.
What's the deal with Mona Lisa's smile?
Harvard scientist Margaret Livingstone is pretty sure she's solved the puzzle.After careful studies on human brains,Livingstone reasoned that the famous painting's flickering smile is caused by the way human beings see.
Our eyes use two separate regions(部位) to see.One is central vision(視力;視覺(jué)),used to see colors and pick out details such as fine print.The other is the vision around,used to observe lights,shadows,black and white contrasts.
When we look at a person's face,according to Livingstone,we usually focus centrally on the eyes.Staring at Mona Lisa's eyes,our less accurate vision notices the mouth,picking up shadows from the cheekbones.The shadows play tricks,looking like a smile.But when we look directly at the mouth,our central vision doesn't see the shadows,and so the smile suddenly disappears.As our eyes observe different parts of the painting,Mona's smile seems to show up or disappear.
Did da Vinci intend to create this flickering smile effect?Perhaps.In any case,he was talented enough to paint shadows so good as to puzzle viewers for centuries.Meanwhile,Mona Lisa will keep smiling.And not.
5.Staring at Mona Lisa,people are amazed becauseB.
A.it is one of the world's top ten most famous paintings
B.Mona Lisa's smile seems to disappear sometimes
C.they are lucky enough to have a view at the Louvre
D.the reproduction of the work produces the same effect
6.According to the passage,the use of the central vision is toA.
A. observe different colors and find out details
B.see black and white contrasts
C. enjoy lights and fine print
D.enjoy fine paintings
7.What can you infer from the passage?B
A.Da Vinci created the flickering smile effect by design.
B.The flickering smile effect is caused by the shadows.
C.Our eyes use many separate regions to see paintings.
D.Mona Lisa is the most famous painting in the world.
