      Canada, lying in North America, is a country with a population of 30 million.
It is known as the second largest country in the world, having an area of 9. 98
million square kilometres.
       The country is well known for its beautiful environment, attractive scenery,
fresh air as well as its comfortable climate. It is extremely rich in natural
resources, such as minerals, woods and various seafood. Besides, as one of the
seven most developed industrialized countries in the West, it is highly
developed  in  industries  like communication, paper making and steel
production.
    Two major languages, English and French, are used in Canada. In this
country primary and secondary school education is free for children. And they
may go to university without taking any examination if they like.
