注意:1.每處錯誤及修改均僅限一詞;
Tom and Dick are next door friend who both work in same office so they often walk together to and from office. One day they were walking to home together while it suddenly started to rain. Tom quickly open his umbrella and said proud, “My wife had great foresight. She said this morning it would rain and told me to carry my umbrella with myself.” Dick smiled and walked closely to him under the protection of Tom’s umbrella, said “My wife had ever greater foresight. She didn’t let me carry my umbrella as she knew you would have yours with you.

故same前必須加上the.
3.home為副詞,不能說walk to home,只能說walk home.又如:go home,不說go to home. One day they were walking to home…
時候”,應(yīng)該為when,這里的when等于at that time; just then(就在此時)。
7.carry sth. with sb.
He feels better than he has ever felt before.(他從未感覺這么好過。)而even與adj. / adv. Smith was speaking even more slowly than usual.(Smith說的比平常還要慢。)

Many people find exams frightened experiences. Sit down for an exam when
everyone is so quiet and serious really makes people nervous. In order to overcome
that, I always do few things to relax after I start. At the beginning of the exam, I
read out all the directions carefully so that I can know exactly how I have to do.
Then I work out how many time I can spend on each question and make sure I keep
to my timetable. If I feel myself getting nervous at any time, I will stop what I was
doing and take a few deep breath. However, I think the most important thing is to
review my work thoroughly before exams. The better I’m prepared, the more
worried I will be in exams.

Did you enjoy yourself yesterday? I suppose you do. But I’d like to tell you what a bad day I had yesterday. Everything just went wrongly. On the morning, my alarm clock didn’t ring, since I woke up an hour late. I was in such a hurry that I burnt my hand when I was cooking the breakfast. Then I ran out of the house to catch the 8:30 buses. This is the bus I usually take. But, you may laugh, I missed it of course. I am very unhappy, and scared as well because teacher hates the students coming late to school. So I ran three miles to school only to found that nobody was there. The school was quiet but peaceful. Our classroom was locked. I realized that moment: It was Sunday.

I was shopping at the local supermarket which I selected some eggs and a package of bacon. As I put the items in the front of the cashier, a drunken man stand behind me watched. While the cashier is packing up the things, the drunken man calm stated, “You must be single.” I was a bit surprised so I indeed didn’t have a boyfriend. I looked at the things I bought and saw something particularly unusual that could have indicated my personal situation. I became extremely curious and said, “What did you know that?” A drunken man replied, “Because you’re ugly.” I became speechless. How stupid was to question a drunken man!

Dear Jack,

I’m middle school student. I’m writing to tell you my problem with my mother.  She is a doctor, whom works very hard. She is strict in me, but she is too busy with her work that she found little time to talk to me. I love her

and I do well in my studies, but I still feel a little of afraid of her because she loses her temper easy. I don’t know how to communicate with her. Maybe that’s why we have seldom sat down and exchanged our feeling and thoughts. I hope we can know more about each other and understand each other well. I do hope we’ll be closer. What can I do?

Looking forward to your reply.

Best wishes!

Your sincerely,

Tom
