This afternoon I went to see my grandfather by a bus. It was very
crowded and I had to stand. Besides me there was a woman held a little boy
in her arms. In front of her, a young man occupies two seats, pretending to be
sleeping. I heard the little boy curious asking his mother, “What’s wrong with
the uncle?” I had thought if perhaps the woman would blame the man.
Beyond her expectations, the woman answered with a smile, “Be quiet. This
uncle must very tired because of hard work.” The young man must have
heard the word. His face turned red and offered one seat for the woman at once.

Beside
小題6:if改為that或者去掉if
小題7:her改為my
小題8:must后面加be
小題10:for改為to

小題6:if改為that或者去掉if 動(dòng)詞think后面的賓語從句可以用that修飾,that在句中不充當(dāng)任何成分,可以省略。
小題8:must后面加be 本句使用的是“must+動(dòng)詞原形”對現(xiàn)在的情況進(jìn)行的推測,must be tired一定很累了。
小題10:for改為to 固定搭配offer sth to sb 向某人提供某物。

Criticism (批評) is everywhere in life. It is up to you to decide how to react to it. Learn how to deal with criticism and lead a happier and more relaxing life.
Ask yourself how the criticism will affect you. Will you lose your job because of the criticism? Will you lose what is important to you because you are criticized? Will life stop existing if your opinions are not accepted? Surely not! So, don’t worry about it. Instead, remember that some criticism actually helps you make some improvements.
You absolutely cannot stop what people say. What you can do, however, is to change the way you react to criticism. If you let it upset you, then the blame is on you. You have the right to decide what to do with the criticism you receive.
Don’t be afraid to accept criticism. No one likes to be told that he is wrong. Yet, every single person has, at one time or another, been blamed for something. Realize that it’s normal. You may have received some strong criticism, but it doesn’t mean that you are foolish, or that you don’t have the ability to do something properly. If you are afraid to put your work out for others to see, you’ll  never know if you are a capable person. Try not to think of it in that way and don’t take it seriously. If you can learn to be optimistic, you will remove some stress and nervousness about what people think, thus becoming happier.
Consider where the criticism comes from. It may help you step back and examine what causes the criticism. Is the critic just trying to offer constructive criticism? It is much easier to accept correction or guidance from someone that has good intentions. This type of criticism is known as valid criticism, because there is a valid point or reason to it. On the other hand, there are critics that offer their advice just to be negative. This is commonly referred to as invalid criticism because it is often not of any use at all.
Do your best. And if someone doesn’t like what you’ve done, so what? It’s either valid criticism or invalid criticism. But you have the power to decide how you will allow it to affect you.

My wife and me spent two weeks in London last year. We went here in autumn. We stayed in a small hotel in the West End. It was convenient as we do most of our sightseeing on foot. Taxis was quite too expensive. We couldn’t understand the bus routes, but my wife didn’t like traveling by the underground. She said it made her to feel sick. We went to look at the places which all tourists see. We saw the Buckingham Palace. We came shopping in Oxford Street and spent too many money. What we liked most, though, was going to theatre.

The need for love is deeply rooted in the human psyche(靈魂).   小題1:  According to psychologists, separateness means to be cut off, helpless and alone in the world. It is the source of all anxiety.
小題2:  It can be selfish and possessive, or unselfish and giving. Abraham Maslow distinguishes between two kinds of love: B-love or “being love” means love for another person: unselfish love not dependent upon your own needs. What is a big dream?    小題1:   Or, is a big dream something that provides only entertainment? Children dream big dreams, but there are three barriers to realizing dreams. They often kill them before they ever have a chance to grow.
The Self
Immediately following the birth of a big dream, a negative self-talk takes over and gives all the reasons why it cannot happen. This inside voice is the ego(自我). It’s there for protecting and should be listened to.    小題2:   Most people are influenced by the inside voice. That’s why only a handful of people make their dream come true.
Family and friends are a lot like the ego. They want to protect those they love, so they will often list all the reasons why the big dreams won’t come true. Sometimes, family and friends destroy dreams of those they love most, out of their own fear of being left behind.
The World
If one gets past the first two barriers, one has to face the world.   小題4:   In the past, big dreamers were locked up and sometimes even killed when they were shown to the world. Fortunately, in most of the world today, big dreamers just get laughed at.
The way to realize a big dream is with confidence and action. When children have confidence and then take action, they will be ready to accept any failure. The truth is that every great dreamer whose dreams have never seen the light of success knows failure well.
A.How Big Dreams Die
B.Family and Friends
C.Sometimes it is right, but more often it is wrong.
D.Does a big dream show one’s future?
E. It is the last and the most terrible barrier.
F. And their big dream is to be a rock star or a famous artist.
