My father and I am taking a camping trip in July and August. We will travel for about two months but will tour the United States and parts of the Canada. We have decided to camp because it does not spend as much as vacationing in hotel, but we had to plan carefully. I think the car what we are going to drive is very small, so we decide to take only one small suitcase for both of them and as few camping things as possibly. We will take some medicine with us prevent insects from hurting us, and also some food for picnics. I’m sure that we will have fun.

Warley Woods Community (社區(qū)) Trust

Welcome to our third newsletter of the year!

Our main activity for March is our Walk for the Woods fundraising events on Saturday，17th March，starting any time between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. We will be walking the distance between Warley Woods and Tipperary. It is indeed a long way-80 miles. The more people that you can get sponsor you，the more money we can raise to help look after our beautiful woodland. More information is available at our website.

The Sunday volunteers planted two beeches and on oak last week. This was thanks to the money fro the Big Tree Plant and to Lisa and Gordon Whitiker，whose friends gave money for the big trees instead of for their wedding presents. Thanks to everyone who took part.

There were 15 volunteers at the Oral History Training Day which was led by vey ably by Julia Letts. The group will be meeting again and will start to interview the local people who have offered to tell their stories. We are happy to hear from others who would like to be interviewed about their memories of the Woods for the project. If you or anyone you know is interested，please call Viv Cole at the office. This project is financed by Heritage Lottery Fund.

There was a huge response to the Forest Schools activities held at half term. These will be held again during the Easter holidays on the following dates: 4th April from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for over 8s. On 12th April form 10 a.m. to 12 noon，there will be a Teddy Bears’ Picnic for the under 8s. All these must be booked in advance.

Finally，don’t forget the Easter Egg Roll on Bank Holiday，9th April，staring at 11 a.m. Bring your own hard-boiled and decorated egg to roll down the hill in the woods. The first past the finishing line will win a large chocolate egg! This year，due to popular demand，there will also be an Adults’ Easter Egg Roll following the children’s competition.

How to Avoid Mistakes in the IELTS Test

Many students, some with very good English skills, take the academic IELTS (International English Language Testing System) test and fail to achieve the score they expected or hoped for. In order to avoid this, it is important to have an understanding of what you need to do in each part of the exam and have some basic strategies. 1.

Don’t give very short answers

Don’t just answer "yes" or "no" to questions. The examiner needs to hear you speak, so always give extra information.

For example, for part 1:

Q: Do you have a big family?

A: Yes, I do. I have my parents, and I also have three brothers and two sisters. My aunt lives with us as well. 2.It can be quite noisy in our house, but it’s still a lot of fun!

It is important to extend your answers, but at the same time you must be answering the question or talking about things related to the topic. You won’t gain extra marks for talking for the sake of it, if it has nothing to do with what you have been asked!

Listen carefully

Always listen carefully to what the examiner asks you. Again, you aren’t be expected to be talking about something different to what you are asked.

If you don’t understand a question or you don’t hear it, then ask the examiner to repeat it. There is nothing wrong with needing to do this a few times during the test.

Talk for two minutes

It is OK to give extra information, so feel free to tell the examiner everything you can think about the topic. 5.You can plan what you say in the 1-minute preparation time and think of what extra information you can give.
