My disappointment had 28 as if by design. "Everything happens for the best," Mum  29  me. Dad lent me his car to look for a job. I tried WOC Radio Davenport. The program director told me they had already hired an announcer.   30  I left his office, I asked aloud,"  31 can a fellow get to be a sports announcer if he can't get a job in a radio station?" Suddenly, I heard the director  32 . "Do you know anything about football? " Then he asked me to  33  an imaginary game. It was easy, and I did it without difficulty. The director was  34 and told me I would be broadcasting a game on the   35    Saturday.

The month of May is not only a graduation month in the US, but also a month when some families hold reunions.Have you ever considered why it is important that families get together in one place for a particular time? I believe the reason is honor.
Family reunions are a time we can take out of our busy schedules and spend quality time with our extended families(大家庭).It is a time when we can make our sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and others we love a priority (首要事情)in our life.
Some reunions take place over a picnic lunch and some last a whole weekend. They can be costly and are sometimes crazy. But the truth is, when people you love grow up and move away, getting together for a family reunion and holding that family bond together is so important.
Family reunions build a renewed closeness as we mix with our relatives. We sit and talk about old times and listen to the stories that our older and wiser relatives love to share. As the children run and play and get to know each other, we sit and revisit our childhood memories and enjoy the short time we have together.
The best part of a family reunion is the time spent simply being around the people you care about A reunion shows how important it is to take time for each other. When you receive a family reunion invitation, make it a priority in your life. It's a great chance to see your relatives once again, give them a big hug and enjoy the time you have with them.Life is too short not to!

There’s been a lot of talk about white-and-blue collar workers, and you may have even heard of gold collar workers, but lately a new color of collar is making its way into China’s urban vernacular(土話)—green. Green collars say no when work is life and life is work. They choose to get out of the fast lane(車道), and explore new ways of living “green”.
Living green doesn’t mean someone is working as an environmentalist, biologist or scientist. Instead it is more of a lifestyle choice. A typical green collar is well educated like a white-collar but physically tough like a blue-collar, likely born in the 70s or 80s of the last century and living in one of China’s big cities, with a monthly income well above 5,000 yuan (about US $700).
The life of a green collar may go something like this; Turn off the mobile phone after work, eat only healthy food rich in vitamins, go on hikes every weekend, and like to help the underprivileged.
Green collars even have their own club. In Beijing, the Green Collar Club is for people who share a “be happy, healthy and helpful” spirit. The club often holds charity parties and uses the donations for environmental protection and poverty relief(擺脫貧困)projects in China.
“They are successful in their careers, but do not miss the pleasures in life. They have a lot of money, but do not fall slave to it.” said Zuo Shiguang, one of the founding members of the club.

My father and I were very close. I loved pleasing him, and he was always proud of my success. If I won a spelling contest(競(jìng)賽) at school, he was on top of the world. Later in life whenever I got a promotion(提升), I'd call my father right away and he'd rush out to tell all his friends. In 1970,when I was named president of the Ford Motor Company, I don't know which of us was more excited.
Like many native Italians, my parents were very open with their feelings and their loves not only at home, but also in public. Most of my friends would never hug(擁抱) their fathers. But I hugged and kissed my dad at every opportunity for nothing could have felt more natural.

When I was 18, I had a motorbike accident that put me in a coma for three months. The doctors said there was little chance of my coming out of it, but my identical twin, Marcus, didn’t believe them and carried on talking to me. My first words when I came to myself were, “Hello, Marcus. ”Even though I had no memory of my own name, or that the woman crying at my bedside was my mother, I knew Marcus immediately; it was like a genetic(遺傳的)memory. just felt close to him.
As weeks went by, I still could remember nothing before the accident. Marcus was the only person I could relate to.

But finally I understood. Out of love, Marcus had chosen not to tell me about my dark side. He wanted me to have a fresh start—and in fact I had one. Thanks to him, I was able to get married and have kids. I’m 46 now, and feel as if I’m in the third stage of my life. I know all there is to know, and wouldn’t want it any other way.
