停止三好學(xué)生評(píng)比

  2009年9月19日,中國(guó)教育學(xué)會(huì)會(huì)長(zhǎng)顧明遠(yuǎn)倡議中小學(xué)停止三好學(xué)生評(píng)比,對(duì)全體學(xué)生一視同仁。最近,你們學(xué)校組織學(xué)生針對(duì)“是否應(yīng)該取消評(píng)選三好學(xué)生”的話題進(jìn)行來(lái)討論,請(qǐng)結(jié)合下表的內(nèi)容,寫(xiě)一篇100詞的英語(yǔ)短文。

Recently a discussion was held about whether selecting “Three Goods” Students in elementary and middle schools should be cancelled. The results are as follows:

   The supporters say, traditionally selecting “Three Goods” Students is a way to motivate those students good in study, attitude and health. And the “Three Goods” Students usually serve as role models for others.

   However, those who are against it argue that only a few students are chosen as “Three Goods” Students, which may hurt the feelings of other students. Actually,  “Three Goods” Students are usually students with good scores, which reflects that PE and moral education are being overlooked in China. This is harmful for carrying out quality education and improving all-round education.

   Personally, in order to achieve quality education, new scientific ways of evaluation must be adopted so that students’ potential and ability can be developed.
