The person I want to thank most is my mum, tall and thin, wearing a pair of glasses which makes her elegant.

As an English teacher, she can not only make her class lively and interesting but also treat her students as her own children. Because of her kindness and a good sense of humor, she is very popular among her students. 

My mum is also a great mother. She often patiently teaches me how to think independently and helps me to build up my confidence. When I have some difficulties in my studies, it is my mum who encourages me to work until I solve the problem. When I’m feeling sad or bad, it is also my mum who looks after me with care.

  I remember when I caught a high fever at midnight last month, my mum took me to the hospital as fast as she could．It was about 6 in the early morning when we got home, but she had to work immediately. She must be very tired．How I wish she could have had enough time to have a good rest that day!
