Mary is a 16-year-old high school student, who devoted herself to her lessons every day. Last Saturday, as usual, she went to several class. In the evening, she continued to study until deeply into night. She was too sleepy and tired that she couldn’t work effectively. On the Sunday morning, she was about to do her lessons while her father came up and advised her to take a break. Soon they came up a good idea. We decided to go cycling in the countryside. Mary had great fun, competing and chatting with her father, and felt relaxing in the open air. On Monday, Mary was energetic but active in class.
【1】devoted改為devotes
【2】class改為classes
【3】deeply改為deep
【4】too改為so
【5】去掉the
【6】while改為when
【7】加上with
【8】We改為They
【9】relaxing改為relaxed
【10】but改為and
deep in night深夜。
【4】too改為so;固定用法。so … that太..以至于;too…to太… 故將too改為so。
on Sunday在周末;in the morning在早上;on Sunday morning在周末早上。
【6】while改為when;固定句式。be about to do sth ….when當… 故將while改為when。
【7】come up后加上with; 固定搭配。come up with 想出。故在come up后加上with。
前面提到了she和her father。故將We改為They。
【10】but改為and;考查連詞。 故將but改為and。

On January 5th, students in our school visited Robot World, which we saw a great diversity of robot. It was amazed to find those robots could do a great number of things just like real people, included playing chess, playing the piano and drawing pictures. What’s more, the robots were in different kinds and shapes, which made us enjoyable. In addition, that excited me most is the show given by a group of robots. When asking about happiness, we often think of something unusual, that seems to be hard to get as we grow older. Sometimes, the more we can enjoy what we have, the happy we are. It’s easy to overlook the pleasure we get from the company of friend, the freedom to live in where we please, and even good health. So happiness isn’t about something that happens to us, it’s about how we see it in the reasonable way. Generally speaking, we were willing to hold a positive attitude towards things around us, and we should not look forward what we don’t have, but enjoy what they do have.

To forgive is a virtue(美德), but no one has ever said it is easy. When someone has deeply hurt you, it can be extremely difficult to let go of your hate. However, forgiveness is possible, and it can be surprisingly beneficial to your physical and mental health. People who forgive show less sadness, anger and stress and more hopefulness, according to a recent research.
【1】 . Try the following steps:
Calm yourself. 【2】 . You can take a couple of breaths and think of something that gives you pleasure: a beautiful scene in nature, or someone you love.
