【題目】The National Park Service in the United States will mark its one hundredth anniversary in 2016. As it nears its second century, the Park Service plans to increase its educational programs for students and teachers.
The plans include transportation support for one hundred thousand students each year to visit national parks to learn about nature and history. Yellowstone is believed to have been the world’s first national park when it was established in 1872. Other students will get a chance to see parks in faraway places through Skype and other online programs.
The National Park Service also works with partners to provide education. One of its partners is a nonprofit organization called NatureBridge. NatureBridge is celebrating its fortieth anniversary and says one million young people have taken part in its programs. The organization works with students from kindergarten through twelfth grade and uses national parks as its classrooms. It provides field science programs at Yosemite National Park and four other locations in California and the northwestern state of Washington.
Now, NatureBridge is launching an East Coast center with a fourmilliondollar grant from Google. The program will begin in April at the Prince William Forest Park in Virginia. Students stay for three to five days in NatureBridge programs. The activities are aimed at developing their science skills. For example, they learn about different soils and study water quality under a microscope.
Jason Morris is executive vice president of NatureBridge. He says when they are not sleeping, eating or in a laboratory, the students spend their time outdoors. Julia Washburn is associate director of education and interpretation for the National Park Service. She says in a time of budget cuts, the agency has to find ways to still meet its goals. Ms. Washburn says one of the most important services that the Park Service provides every day is nature interpretation. Park rangers (公園管理員) try to make visiting the outdoors more meaningful. Interpretation is a form of informal education. Essentially, it is a word that we use for the people in parks that explain the park or help orient (確定方向) you. So park rangers are interpreters. They orient you to the place you are in and help you make connections, emotional and intellectual connections, with the place.

I took part in a international English speech contest and win a prize. As a result, I offered a chance to visit Paris. Paris is one of my most favorite cities and I had dreamed of go there for a long time.
Firstly, I visited the magnificent Eiffel Tower. Then I went to the Louvre, that I enjoyed a lot of world-famous work, such as Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece Mona Lisa. I also enjoyed the sights of the Arch of Triumph, which is regarded for the symbol of France.
I also spent some time look around and experiencing the unique culture in Paris, which great enriched my life.

I woke up the other day when hearing a phone call from taxi driver who had my friend's cell phone.My friend has apparently left it in the cab the night before.The driver had called the others,but I was the first one who answered the phone.It was a rainy morning,that for cab drivers is a very busy time.The cab driver asked him where he could give the cell phone for me.I asked him to go to the place where I lived.Then I quickly jumped out of bed,put on my cloth and told the cab driver I'd meet him on the corner of the street.

Once a man asked a painter to painting a picture for him. He told the artist he didn't want any shadows in the picture, just sunshine, but the artist did so. When the man saw the finishing picture, he was disappointing. Without shadows, everything in the picture looks flat and unreal. The point of the story is that we need both shadows and sunshine to have a completely picture, just as we need both rain and sun to have living world. People, too, needs both sadness and happiness. We often learn important lesson during sad times. So when we feel sad, we should try to stop and think about that we might learn from the experience.

I am so exciting that I can’t wait to share with you what I experienced today. I gave my first lesson in our school, which left me deep impression.
When I entered into the classroom, my students began to make much noise. I stood on the platform not know what to do next. But soon I realized everything must be done. I asked the kids that liked English songs. They all say “Yes.” I sang a song I had practiced many times. To my great surprise, all the kids turned their attentions to my class.
From this experience I know however happens, we must stay calmly first and find a wise solution.
