Living things have a wonderful way of adapting in order to stay alive. Plants grow in the Arctic. Some simple animals can live in hard conditions. Some creatures live in the blackest deeps of the sea under thousands of tons of pressure. We can't really say that our kind of air is the only kind living things can breathe, or that they must have water or a certain climate. Creatures that breathe other gases or live in other temperatures, however, certainly won't look like us.
