Kiss in a Box

The story goes that some time ago, a man punished his 3-year-old daughter for wasting a roll of gold wrapping(包裝用的)paper. He was very poor and he became angry when the child tried to decorate a box to put under the Christmas tree.

The next morning, the little girl brought the gift to her father and said, "This is for you, Daddy." He was embarrassed by his earlier overreaction(過強(qiáng)的反應(yīng)), but his anger suddenly began to burn again when he found the box was empty. He shouted at her, "Don't you know that when you give someone a present, there's supposed to be something inside it?"

The little girl looked up at him with tears in her eyes and said, "Oh, Daddy, it is not empty.I blew kisses into the box.All for you, Daddy." The father was very upset. He put his arms around his little girl, and he begged for her forgiveness

The man kept that gold box by his bed for years and whenever he was discouraged, he would take out a full kiss and remember the love of the child who had put it there.

One year ago. I asked a worker to help me repair my old house. He had a bad first day on the job: his car broke on the way, then he found he had left his tools for work at home and his wife telephoned to say his son had a bad cold. While I drove him home, he was silent all the way. When arriving, he invited me to meet his family.
As we walked towards the front door, he stopped at a small tree, and touched the tree with hands. When we opened the door, I was very surprised to see he changed into another person and there was a big smile on his face instead. He hugged (擁抱) his son and gave his wife a kiss.
After a while, when he walked me to the car, I asked him why he had touched the tree just then. "Oh, that's my trouble tree," he answered.  "Sometimes I have troubles on my job, but one thing is for sure, they don't belong to my wife and my son. So I just hang up (懸掛) the troubles on the tree every night when I come home. Then in the morning I pick them up. "
