Students from Sugg Middle School wore blue aprons (圍裙) and washed the potatoes before the bell rang. They were preparing a festival meal. For most of the students it was their first “real kitchen ” experience.

Valerie started the course last year. She said not every lesson was about cooking. Students also learned about the science behind cooking and nutrition, from which people got the food necessary for health and growth.
