   Scientists are trying to find ways to prevent rhinos from becoming extinct. In 1975,the San Diego Zoo Institute for Conservation Research started a program called the Frozen Zoo. Through the program,researchers have collected cell samples ( 細(xì)胞樣品） from more than 8,000 different animal species(種) ， including the northern white rhino. Sciq^tists hope ftat by studying the rhino cells,they will know more about the rhino,and will find ways to increase its numbers.

   At the San Diego Zoo,children adults are welcome to visit and speak with zookeqjers to learn about rhinos. They can also take part in different activities. But you don’t have to live in San Diego to celebrate World Rhino Day. It is celebrated around the world to teach people about rhinos.
