I’m Lin Tao. I’ll 1_ from Yu Ren Middle School. Three years ago,my English was so 2_ that I would give it up. One day,my brother gave a book to me and said, “Read it 3_ ，and you will be good at English. ”

Valentine’s Day(情人節(jié)）is a happy day for most lovers. However,for the students in our class,it’s a day for all of us. We can give presents to anyone we like,including our friends and teachers. The reason was not that it was designed(設(shè)計）specially，but it was from a special person—my dad. I was very thankful because it was actually an encouragement for me at the time. Later I knew my father put the card into my card box when I was having breakfast that morning. I liked the card very much. I thought it was better than any card in my classmates’ boxes.
