知識(shí)點(diǎn)三 elderly,elder 與 old

三詞均可指“年老的，年邁的”。其區(qū)別是:old指年事已高，接近生命的終點(diǎn)；elder表示 “年齡較大的，年長(zhǎng)的”，指相對(duì)于某人或某事來(lái)說(shuō)年齡比較大;elderly指已過(guò)中年，意為 “較老的，接近老年的”，是絕對(duì)意義上的年紀(jì)較大，常有尊敬和威嚴(yán)的意味。
