I don’t make ________ clear when and where the parents’ meeting will be held.
A. this B. that C. those D. it
D 【解析】試題分析:句意:我不清楚何時何地舉行家長會。this 這;that 那;those 那些;it它。本句的真實賓語是when and where the parents’ meeting will be held.但它比較長,為了使得句子結(jié)構(gòu)平衡,就將其放在句末,而用it作形式賓語,所以選D。科目:初中英語 來源:江蘇中考英語語法考點專項訓練--介詞 題型:單選題

The dream changed. First I went through a silent forest. Then I was alone in a small boat, which was floating along, past tree-covered islands. The boat was carrying me between grassy banks with colorful dots here and there. The water was so clear that some soft clouds in bright sky could be seen in it. The current must have been strong, for the boat kept moving forward quickly, as though
it were being pushed by some unseen hand.
At last the boat came to a place with a narrow stretch of silver sand. An old man was standing, his hand shading his eyes. As the boat ran around, he came up to me, held out his hand, and greeted me politely.
“You have reached me at last. Would you follow me, please?”
I kept still for a moment and was wondering what would happen next. The old man noticed my doubt and smiled at me kindly.
“You need not be afraid,” he said. “You are deeply respected by us all. Everything has been prepared for you. Now please come with me to the place chosen for you.*'
I dared not refuse him,but for reasons I cannot explain, I wouldn’t touch his hand out stretched to help me as I stepped out of the boat. We made our way towards a low flight of steps, which led to a beautiful palace, where I expected something dangerous was hidden.

Norman Cousins was a businessman from the United Stated who often traveled around the world on business. He enjoyed his work and traveling. But now, Mr. Cousins got sick, because he had pushed his body to the limit of its strength on his work. Surrounded by endless work, he had no choice but to deal with it day and night. Then a chemical change began to take place inside him. The material between his bones became weak. In less than one week after his return, he could not stand. Every move that he make was painful.
