To Be A Cat is a book by Matt Haig. It is a fun book, but not silly(蠢的).It’s about a boy named Barney Willow.

Barney Willow is a 12-year-old boy. His father, Neil, leaves him after he and Barney’s mom divorce. Barney has a lot of trouble at school. He thinks being a cat may be easier than being a school boy. A cat never has to wonder why its dad disappears one day and never comes back.

On Barney’s 12th birthday, he wishes to be a cat and his wish comes true. He should be excited. However, he’s not.
