It seems that many young people still think that smoking is cool. There are many reasons for this, for example, films．Many actors smoke in films and this can lead the young to think that smoking can be cool. But now, top actors and actresses are refusing the movies in which they are asked to smoke. So hopefully, the "cool" factor(因素) will become much smaller.
Many young people believe that smoking makes them look cool. It’s probably true that smoking helps them look older. Doctors say that not only sugar and alcohol(酒) but also smoking is bad for your skin(皮膚). Do you really want to see wrinkles(皺紋) on your face at a young age? Do you really think that smoking will make you as cool as you think ?  Do you really believe that he or she will like someone that smells like a factory? This is simply a bad idea.

I decided that one year had been enough. Some people needed the job to stay alive and fed. I guess I had the means and could afford to hate it and give it up.
