Li Yaoyou never thought his writing would become popular online. The 14-year-old at Wuhan Wuluolu Middle School wrote biography(傳記) for each of his 57 classmates in classical(古典的) Chinese. And now people are admiring his great talent.
Li's biography has more than 8,000 words. He wrote about each of his classmates, including their birthdays and personalities(個(gè)性).The ninth-grader sees it as a graduation gift to them.
In fact, writing a biography was part of his Chinese homework for winter vacation.Students were asked to read Historical Records(《史記》).Then they had to write a biography for others.
At the beginning,Li just wrote about six classmates he knew well. His teacher then encouraged him to write more.It was a big project, but Li worked hard to complete it successfully. He didn't know everyone well.So he talked with his classmates' friends and observed(觀察) them carefully.“Once,to write about a girl who I didn't know well,I talked with her friends for a few days,” he said.“My hard work paid off.I got to know she likes Pikachu and food!”
Expressing his ideas in classical Chinese was not easy.Sometimes,he searched online to learn it.But gradually, his language skills improved.“When I wrote the last 10 pieces, the words came to my mind naturally,” he said. Also,he tried to say something more about each person's special side.“Even if it is not a good, shining point,I keep it.I want to be objective(客觀的),” he said.

Could the students from less developed areas in central and western China get the same educational chances as those in big cities in the east Could the children in poor rural (農(nóng)村) areas develop as well as those in rich cities Maybe the answers were “No” in the past. But now, China is trying to change the situation.
In order to help rural students grow taller and stronger. China’s Nutrition(營(yíng)養(yǎng))Improvement Program started in 2011. According to the program, a lot more money was spent improving students’ meals. More than 36 million students from 134,000 primary and junior high schools in poor rural areas have benefited from the program. They are provided with healthy food like eggs and milk from Monday to Friday at school. And the result of a survey shows that the students in those areas are much taller and stronger than before.
It is true that there were differences between less developed areas and developed areas in education before. Recently, The Guideline for Popularizing High School Education(2017-2020) has come out. According to the guideline, above 90%students from all over the country will go to high schools by 2020. What’s more, the schools in central and western areas will get more support to improve their education.
Students from rural and poor areas also get more chances to receive higher education. A special college program makes it possible for more students from those areas to go to key (重點(diǎn)的) colleges and universities. The number will be increased by 10%in 2017.
With the guideline and the programs, we can expect a fairer and more balanced(均衡的) education in the future.

Think of a simple object—a piece of chalk, for example. Are you remembering its name, its shape, its color or its size? Are you remembering what it is used for,or the sound it makes when the teacher writes on the blackboard?Scientists say that memory includes different parts of the brain, such as language and the ability of sense. They believe that you begin to create a memory when you notice something you’re your senses .Then.messages are sent to different brain cells, which join together to form connections.A new connection goes into your short—term memory. It is stored there for about 30 seconds, and then it is either lost or stored in your long—term memory.
Having a good memory means making lots of connections and storing them in your long—term memory. To do this, you need to keep your brain in good shape.Eat plenty of brain food such as fish oil, fruit and vegetables.Laughter also makes your brain more active. Also, don’t forget to exercise. So do some sports or just move around a lot in the house. Finally, get plenty of sleep. This will make your memories grow stronger.
When you want to remember new information, you must pay special attention.Use your senses--sight,smell,hearing and touch-and keep repeating the information. To do well in your exams this year, turn off the TV,silence your mobile, and review your work regularly. To remember something special, use your imagination to create visual(視覺(jué)的)connections. For example, you need to take a pencil,an eraser, your ID card and chips to your next exam.Imagine the ID card as the body of an animal, the pencil its long neck, and the eraser its head.Your animal is hungry,so now imagine it eating a bag of chips. It may sound crazy, but its fun and it works.Another way is to do something different to your room.Turn a picture upside-down,or tie a sock around the door handle to remind(提醒)yourself of something to remember!
