He holds Guinness World Records for the number of donations he made, and the Australian Red Cross Blood Service said, “ As a blood donor, his kindness leaves us a lot of treasure and changes lives of many babies.”

In 1999，Mr Harrison received the Medal of the Order of Australia for his“amazing and selfless (無私的)support of the blood service"”.
