Simon's marks have been very high this year. I have been quite pleased with his work. Although he didn't do very well in Form 4, he seems to find Form 5 much easier. He is highly motivated (動機強烈的). I think his excellent performance (表現(xiàn)) is probably because of part of the support (支持) he gets from his parents, who take a lot of interest in his schoolwork and always help him with his homework.
However, Simon doesn't care much for sports and hardly takes part in after-school activities. He is rather shy and finds it difficult to make friends at school. I wish Simon would put as much effort (努力) into his social life as he does into his studies.
