Chinese writer Mo Yan is famous all over the world, but do you know Anna Gustafson Chen, his Swedish translator?

Chen was born in 1965 in Sweden.①她很小的時候就開始學(xué)習(xí)漢語。Now she is quite good at Chinese. She has been translating Chinese books into Swedish for more than 20 years. By the year of 2012, she had translated 20 Chinese novels(小說). She has finished translating Mo Yan’s Red Sorghum, The Garlic Ballads and Life and Death Are Wearing Me Out. I found it interesting so later I bought the Chinese version and tried to translate it. It took me a long time because it was not my professional job. I had to translate it only in my free time,＂ Chen says.
